Application for Compensation
- Select Bankruptcy menu.
- Select Motions/Applications.
- Ensure correct case name and number match the document you are filing.
- Select Document Event: Compensation (Application).
- Select party filer. When filing applications for compensation, party filer is applicant.
- Party filer not listed, .
- If you do not represent person making application, but are merely filing for them, do not check box to create attorney/party association.
- , verify and attach the document (PDF file).
- , including Notice of Motion.
- Enter hearing information.
- Place check mark(s) for the applicant(s) for compensation on the motion or application.
- Select the Role type of the applicant (i.e., Accountant, Debtor's Attorney, etc.)
- Uncheck any Filer box for "applicant" that is not applying for compensation.
- Check any Filer box for "applicant" that is applying for compensation.
- Enter the time period in which fees and/or expenses occurred.
- Enter the compensation fee amount(s).
NOTE: When you click next, the system will warn you about any "applicants" for whom you have not requested fees. If not requesting fees for that person, click "okay". To go back and enter fee request, click "cancel".
- Enter hearing information.
- Modify text to add pertinent information, such as , if applicable.
- Verify final docket text before submitting onto case docket.
- the Notice of Electronic Filing. It's your receipt.
